Where can I buy bison meat online?
You can buy bison meat online from the Texas Tribal Buffalo Project. We're a Lipan Apache-led, woman-led ranch shipping grass-fed, regenerative bison nationwide. Order through our platform, and we'll have your meat to your door in days.
Here's how to get started.
Two ways to order from us
If you receive SNAP/EBT benefits: Order through Grownby. Your SNAP card covers all our bison products. No credit card needed.
If you pay by credit or debit card: Order through Delivered Cold. Same products, same quality, different checkout.
Both options ship nationwide.
What we offer
Our product line includes grass-fed bison steaks, ground bison, roasts, and specialty cuts.
Why buy from us instead of other online bison vendors
We're the first Native woman-led bison ranch in Texas. Your dollars support Indigenous sovereignty and economic leadership, not another corporate supplier.
We accept SNAP/EBT. Most online bison vendors don't. We did this intentionally because food sovereignty includes affordability.
We steward rematriated land. The ground your bison grazes is being returned to Lipan Apache and other Indigenous nations. When you buy from us, you're part of that return.
We're transparent about our process. No mystery ingredients. No shortcuts. You can know where your food comes from and who raised it.
How to order
Choose your platform (Grownby for EBT, Delivered Cold for credit card).
Browse our current cuts and availability.
Add to cart and checkout.
Your order ships within 3-5 business days, depending on your location.
Storage and handling
Bison arrives frozen for quality and food safety. Store it in your freezer until you're ready to cook. Most cuts thaw in the fridge overnight.
Questions about our process
We're happy to answer them. Reach out through hello@texastribalbuffaloproject.org, and we'll connect you with someone who knows our ranch, our land, and our bison inside and out.
This is more than buying meat online. You're choosing to be part of a movement that brings the Buffalo home.
